This robot, designed to tackle the pressing issue of polluted water bodies, is set to make a real difference at the Shiv Ganga pond during the Shravani Mela.

By focusing on the challenge of removing floating waste from ponds and lakes, they have developed a robot that can efficiently collect and deposit waste into a net-covered collection bucket. The robot's design is a marvel in itself. It utilizes a motor-driven track-belt conveyor system, powered by three different motors, to navigate and clean the water. The Brushless Direct Current (BLDC) hub motor drives the propeller, a gear motor operates the conveyor belt, and a servo motor controls steering. This combination ensures the robot can efficiently collect various floating debris, including plastic bottles, polythene bags, clothes, paper, and more. Moreover, the photoelectric sensor enhances safety by detecting obstacles and preventing collisions.

The Dumka district administration has recognized the potential of this robot and decided to deploy it at Basukinath Dham, one of Jharkhand's busiest religious sites. The robot's capabilities are impressive, with the ability to clean around 8 square feet of water every minute and an operating range of one kilometer.
